After Septemberthe INS issued serially numbered two-part certificates. The application lists her name, place and date of birth, date of marriage, spouse's name, and the date of the termination of her marriage or continuous residency. Typically, they repeat most of the information found in the Petition. These statutes were revised in and again inbut it was the Naturalization Act of that established the three-part naturalization process, which remains in effect today.
